Chef Anton Talks Recipes Kate Middleton Might Enjoy Once Royal Baby Arrives

The Brits—just like us—tend to celebrate special occasions with a champagne toast.

But while Prinz William and Kate Middleton might raise a glass of bubbly once their royal bundle of joy finally arrives, we wonder if there's a special dish the couple might request.

But to hear it from Chef Anton Mosimann, the royal couple will make a pretty sensible pair of parents, who will most likely reach for simple but healthy meals.

And if anyone can make an educated guess as to the eating habits of the parents-to-be, it's Mosimann. After all, he did create the menu for the couple's fairytale wedding, and he was also called upon to whip up a fancy feast for the Queen's Diamond Jubilee.

What's more, the Swiss chef was a favorite of Princess Diana, who was a fan of his risotto. So, you better believe he knows what he's talking about when it comes to a royal appetite!

So, what can Mosimann see the happy couple munching on in between tending to their little one? He's guessing they'll enjoy good-for-you organic meal dinners, like a good ol' English cod dish.

Think of it as a healthier version of fish and chips, seeing as it skips the classic dish's chips and the process of frying the cod. Instead, Mosimann would whip up guilt-free steamed cod for the couple, and he's taken the time to show us exactly how he would prepare it if Will and Kate came knocking on his door once more.

With his addition of basil, carrots, onions leeks and more, it certainly sound like a healthy meal that any sleep-deprived new parent would appreciate.

And it definitely sounds a little more sensible than the luxe menu items the duchess will be able to choose from at the Ludo Wing of St. Mary's hospital, where she will be able to nibble on lamb chops or Mediterranean grilled chicken, as well as yummy desserts like cheesecakes and fresh fruit or cheese platters.
