Travel agents attending ILTM Americas at the Riviera Maya's Mayakoba in Mexico will be able to learn about new resorts, ecotourism projects and historical properties during the event, which is in its second year. It will be held from September 30 to October 3.

Properties from Nicaragua, Honduras and Belize have already signed on to the event for the first time.

"Never before have such incredible new products from the latest hot destination of the Latin Riviera elected to gather in one place to show the world of luxury travel their defining offering," said Simon Mayle, ILTM head of marketing said in a prepared statement. "Standing alongside the many global brands also taking part, ILTM Americas is proving to be unmissable for discerning new luxury travel buyers from the Americas to be able to plan their client's itineraries for 2014 and beyond."

These latest properties to sign on include Nicaragua's Mukul Resort & Spa, which opened in February with 37 rooms, all with private pools and terraces, an 18-hole golf course and spa. Other properties include Honduras' Indura Beach and Golf Resort, a five-star boutique hotel and eco-tourism project; the Ka'ana Boutique Resort and Spa, set in the Maya Mountains in Western Belize with hacienda-style buildings and casitas near such Maya sites as Tikal and Caracol temples.

The event will host international exhibitors and buyers from North, Central and South America in 69 pre-scheduled, one-to-one appointments. ILTM Americas will also feature a range of social networking activities.
